Registration is now open to 9th, 10th and 11th graders for The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) that will be administered on Tuesday morning, January 26, 2021 at CHS.

Taking the PSAT/NMSQT has several benefits including SAT practice recommendations from Khan Academy, accessing college planning resources, entrance into the National Merit Scholarship Program for recognition and scholarships, connecting with colleges and universities and assessing your skill levels and readiness for college and career.  Calallen High School encourages ALL JUNIORS to take this test because students must be in their junior year of high school in order to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship Program.

Registration will be on a first come first served basis and seating is limited. The cost of the test is $17. Students can register and pick up their PSAT/NMSQT Official Student Guide in the Counseling Office. Payment of $17.00 cash or check made payable to Calallen High School must be paid when registering. Juniors who receive free and/or reduced lunch may be eligible for a fee waiver.
