Student Well-being

Calallen ISD’s Licensed Professional Counselor is Maggie Fowler, who has a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Mrs. Fowler is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) through the National Board for Certified Counselors, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) through the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors, and a certified school counselor.  Before becoming a counselor, Mrs. Fowler was a teacher and Athletic Trainer in various schools for eleven years.  She then moved into a counseling role, where she has been a counselor for the past seven years. Mrs. Fowler is employed full-time with Calallen ISD to provide counseling services to any student enrolled in Calallen ISD who request the services.
