    Bio

I was born and grew up in Oak Lawn, IL, a surburb of Chicago, IL.  I attended St. Linus Elementary School and Saint Ignatius College Preparatory high school.  My college years were spent at the University of San Diego and Dominican University.  This is the fourth city I have lived in and this will be my 17th year in Corpus Christi.  I have three children who attend Calallen schools.

I started teaching in San Diego, CA, in 2003 before moving to Austin, TX, in 2004 where I continued to teach.  After taking time off to complete my Master's Degree, I began my library career in 2007 at Calallen High School, where I served as Librarian for ten years.  Then I moved from the secondary level to the elementary level and spent the next four years serving as Librarian for Ortiz Intermediate School in Robstown ISD.  When Ortiz closed, I took over the elementary library position that served both Lotspeich Leadership Academy and San Pedro Fine Arts Academy in Robstown. My last two years were spent serving these campuses.  I am excited to be at West Intermediate this school year.  Go Wildcats!!
