Welcome to Second Grade!

My name is Marisa Young and I am from Corpus Christi, Texas.  I am married and have two children. I have been teaching with Calallen ISD since 2013. Prior to my teaching position in Calallen, I was a First Grade Teacher and a Parent Facilitator for CCISD. I couldn't be more happy to be part of the Wood River Family.

Second grade is such an exciting time as children continue to grow in the world of learning! As we begin the year, I will strive to create a learning environment best suited for your child’s individual personality and academic needs. I look forward to teaching your child and making great Second Grade Memories!
