Mr.Dunn is orignally from Kyle, TX where he attended school in Hays CISD. Prior to arriving at Calallen Mr. Dunn graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos TX, with a Bachelor in Music Education. During his time at Texas State he was a member of the Wind Symphony, Symphony Orchestra, Salsa ensemble Salsa Del Rio, Trumpet Ensemble, Bobcat Basketball Band, and the Bobcat Marching Band. 

His professional affiliations include Association of Texas Small School Bands, and Texas Music Educators Association. 

Mr.Dunn's responsibilites at CMS include teaching the Concert Band, Beginner Trumpet, and Beginner French Horn. He also assists with the high school marching band program and is the High Brass specialist for the district.
