This is my eleventh year working with Calallen ISD. I myself am a graduate of  Calallen High school and graduated in 2010. I was previously a substitute teacher and paraprofessional before being hired as a teacher in 2019. I have previously taught sixth grade writing, sixth grade reading, and eighth grade broadcast journalism.

I have a bachelors degree in communication with a concentration in public relations. I became certified to teach through the Texas Teachers of Tomorrow alternative certification program in 2019. I also have a master's degree in curriculum and instruction. I am currently pursuing my principal certificate through Lamar University. 

This year I will be teaching Introduction to Journalism, Journalism, and Professional Communication. I look forward to working with students and increasing their understanding of journalism, media, and communication.
