Hello, my name is Peggy (PJ) Dorsey and I am the Grand Central Station (GCS) teacher for Math & Science in grades 6th-8th. This is my fifth year at Calallen Middle school and I am SO excited to get the year started. I have two daughters, my eldest is in high school this year and my youngest is in the seventh grade. I also have a "soon-to-be" step daughter who is in the fifth grade this year. We have 5 cats, 1 dog, 1 lizard, 1 snake, and 2 guinea pigs. To say that my family loves animals is an understatement. I also love to go to the beach or take the boat out fishing with my family.

Prior to being a Calallen Wildcat, I was a middle school science teacher in the Corpus Christi ISD where I taught both 6th and 7th grades. I then transitioned over to elementary and taught 5th grade math and science. After one year in the elementary setting I realized that my heart was in middle school.

  • Your 6th, 7th, and 8th grade CMS student is assigned Math homework at least 4 days a week. Please check with them, they may have finished it at school but should still be able to show it to you. Most of the teachers do not allow them to turn it in early or leave it in the classroom.
