 As a lifelong supporter of education,  I have enjoyed my journey of over 20+ years of commitment to students and school districts. I play an active role in assuring that all students have a successful foundation for a lifetime of learning. My goal is to strive to create and maintain an environment where students can grow and thrive while exploring the world around them.

Bio: 

My name is Maricella Castaneda. I am 48 years old. I am from Robstown, TX. and am happily married to my husband, Manuel. We have three beautiful daughters: Miranda, Meah, and Mariah, and the blessing of a granddaughter named Maliya. I am currently the DAEP Lead Teacher at DAEP Calallen Middle School. Together with a team of amazing and creative teachers, we strive and are committed to partner with parents and the community to; challenge, nurture, and empower students to build strong character and to achieve academic excellence.
