I received my high school education right here at Calallen High School and then went on to earn a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics, and I also have a Masters in Educational Administration.

I began my teaching career in Beeville at A.C. Jones High School.  After moving back to Corpus Christi, I taught in Calallen then at Tuloso-Midway.  I then entered into educational administration as a district math specialist for Robstown ISD, then became Director of Secondary Instruction, then an Academic Dean.  After five years in administration in Robstown, I accepted a grant funded position in Kingsville ISD as a math specialist then returned to teach in Calallen where I've been for the past several years.  In total, I have been in the field of education for about 25 years.

I am a mom to two amazing sons, Andrew and Logan, and a wife to an incredible husband, Aaron.   One of my sons has already graduated from college and works in the computer science industry, and my other son is a student at Calallen Middle School.  I love sports and devote my summers to overseeing the Northwest Region Swim Team in Wood River.   I attend church at Messiah Lutheran and feel truly blessed to have the amazing life that I do now.   I'm an avid sports fan who loves the Corpus Christi Hooks and the Calallen Wildcats!  You can find me cheering on the Wildcats on Friday nights at the football stadium and clapping for my son as he runs in touchdowns for the 8th grade football team or dribbles the basketball up and down the court for the 8th grade basketball team.  Calallen is my home, and I'm grateful to live and work in an area so rich in tradition.
