    Calallen ISD Summer Programs (Please Check Phone and Email Messages Daily For Any School Cancellations, Delays or Schedule Changes)

    2019 Summer Program Details Dates: 

    DRESS CODE APPLIES TO ALL 5th-12th Grade summer school attendees just as it does during the school year. 

    8:30am-3:30pm (free breakfast at 8am and free lunch served from 11:30-12:30)

    Registration will be held on your child's campus from May 20th through June 4th. PLEASE DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE FIRST DAY OF SUMMER SCHOOL BECAUSE THE WAIT LINE WILL BE VERY LONG. In order to plan for staff and curriculum, it is best you register by June 3rd. 

    Summer School and SSI begins Wednesday, June 5th. Classes will run Mondays through Thursdays June 5th-27th 8:30-3:30. (5/8 SSI only ends 6/26)

    High School students will attend all day. Magee and CMS students will attend morning AND/OR afternoon sessions depending on course needs.

    Calallen ISD offers the following summer courses:

    (fees apply to all unless noted) (fees are required to fund teachers and supplies) (free breakfasts and lunch served to all daily)

    6th-8th grade Math, ELAR, Science, & Social Studies $100 per course

    9th-12th grade Courses in Math, Science, English and History $100 per semester course ($200 if all year credit needed)

    5th & 8th Grade SSI STAAR remediation and re-testing (no fee)

    STAAR EOC remediation and re-testing (no fee)

    Attendance Make-up Hours Required for Promotion (no fee)

    All classes for 2019 6th through 12th gr. will be located at Calallen Middle School

    Students must be in attendance daily due to the short time frame of courses.

    Students MUST follow regular school code of conduct and MUST be in dress code.

    Transportation available for those who qualify (required for 5th through 8th gr. students) (optional for CHS students)

    2019 June Summer Test DatesSTAAR 5/8 & EOC Summer Re-test Dates below. ALL located at Calallen Middle School. Please be in cafe by 8am. Supplies are not needed but dresscode is required.

     Monday, June 24, 2019 -English I

     Tuesday, June 25,2019 -Algebra 1 and Grade 5 & 8 Math Re-test

     Weds, June 26,2019 -English II and and Grade 5 & 8 Reading Re-test

     Thursday, June 27,2019 -US History & BIO (make-ups for extenuating circumstances - Tues thru Thurs. only)

     Friday-closed no testing
