Calallen ISD is working tirelessly to ensure we have all resources and protocols in place to provide a safe and healthy learning environment for our students and staff. The health and safety of all students, staff and families in our community is a priority!    

It is IMPORTANT to note the following:

• Central Office staff, District nurses and Campus staff are working jointly to investigate suspected or reported positive cases
• Complete and thorough contract tracing is being conducted by a team of Calallen ISD staff 
• If a student is identified as a CLOSE CONTACT,  then the parent/guardian will receive a PERSONAL CALL from Nursing or District staff to discuss health information and protocols
• If a case is identified at a campus where your child attends school, a mass email notification will be sent to all parents at that campus.  (Email does not imply a direct exposure/close contact)
• Electrostatic sanitizing "guns" are used regularly and frequently at all schools and facilities
• Wearing of masks is enforced
• Social distancing is key
• Hand washing and sanitizing are of great importance
