Can I submit a paper application instead of applying online?

I do not have access to a computer with internet capabilities, is there one available?
Posted by:Yes, we have a computer available at the Calallen ISD Central Office, and our receptionist is also available for assistance.

How do I know which positions are available with Calallen ISD?
Posted by:All positions are advertised on the Calallen ISD website. Go to www.calallen.org. and click on the EMPLOYMENT link. You will be able to view all available vacancies. You will be required to register with a username and password, and you should save that information as it will be required any time that you wish to update your application.

After I have submitted my application online can I add reference letters and other materials?
Posted by:Yes, simply log back into the system and access your application using your user name and password. Once in the system, select upload documents. We strongly suggest that you upload transcripts and certification.

I have an application on file but I see another position that I would like to be considered for?
Posted by:No, it is not necessary. Simply contact the Human Resources Department, and we can assist you in applying for multiple positions available across the district.

After I have applied for a position online, how will I know that my application has been reviewed?
Posted by:All applications are reviewed by the Director of Personnel.

Do I have to fill out a W-4 to complete the application process?
Posted by:No, that will be filled out upon hiring.

Can I apply for a certified position even though I have not received certification confirmation?
Posted by:Yes, you can by simply making a notation of when certification is expected.

How will I know if I have been selected to interview for a position?
Posted by:There are several methods that we use to contact our applicants. You may receive a phone call from our Director or assistant or you may be contacted via e-mail. It is very important to keep your contact information up-to-date.

How will I know if I got the job that I interviewed for?
Posted by:You will receive a phone call or email from the Director of Personnel. Principals and supervisors do not make job offers. They make recommendations to hire applicants. After HR conducts the required background, qualifications, and certification check, the Director calls the applicant that has been recommended.

Will I know that I have completed the process and I am finished with my online application?
Posted by:Yes, you will click on “next” as you complete each page of the application and continue to do so until you get to the page that says “you have completed the application process.”

I am interested in employment with your school district; however, I am not certified in the vacancy.
Posted by:You may apply and select the position that you qualify for at any time regardless of the vacancy posting; however, only qualified applicants will be considered for an interview.

How long will my application remain active?
Posted by:Applications will remain in the system for one year, but move to an inactive folder. You can move the application back to active status by signing in and updating your application.
