    Hello, my name is Brenda Wright.  I am a graduate of Tuloso-Midway High School. I continued my education at Del Mar College and concluded it at Texas A&I University in Kingsville. I have a BS in Education with a minor in English. This is my 30th year of teaching. I taught 3 years in Corpus Christi and have taught 26 years in Calallen, 10 years at Annaville and 16 years at Wood River. I have taught 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade. I love teaching and second grade is my favorite. There isn't anything more rewarding than seeing the love of learning in my students' eyes. I really enjoy teaching all subjects. 

    I have remarried and have 2 daughters and 3 sons. I have also been blessed with 2 beautiful grand daughters.

    I look forward to this new school year and meeting my students.
