Welcome to Wood River!  My name is Blinda Gibson and I am an ASHA certified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with over 18 years of experience in my field.  I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Texas A&M Kingsville (Go Hogs!!!) and my Masters degree from the the University of Texas Pan American.  I have extensive experience in private pediatric rehabilitation, skilled nursing, home health, and the school settings.  In my spare time, I enjoy Reading, Mixed Martial Arts, taking cooking classes, baking, and spending time with my husband and two children. I have been the SLP at Wood River Elementary for the last 7 years and always say Wood River is the best place to work, play, and learn!  Go Cats!!!
