Calallen High School is a testing center for the SAT and ACT exams for most of the offered test dates. Please note-not all of the state-wide test dates are offered at our site. Sometimes they also close our site for subject testing and will require you to choose an alternate location. If you choose to test on a date not listed below, you may choose an alternate location.
If you are registered to take one or both of these exams, please remember to be on time at CHS at 7:30-7:45am for check in. You MUST have valid (up to date) ID (non-expired Drivers License/Passport or School ID) and admission ticket. Those items are required for your entry into the test site. You must also bring your own #2 pencils, calculator (and snacks/water optional). See websites for calculator policies. We will NOT be able to provide calculators. Anyone without an updated ID and ticket will be denied admission (SAT/ACT policies).

~When do I take the SAT/ACT?
Although it is up to the student and parent, here is one answer directly from the SAT College board website: "Most students take the SAT during their junior or senior year of high school. At least half of all students take the SAT twice — in the spring as a junior and in the fall as a senior. Most students improve their score the second time they take the SAT. Learn more about when to take the SAT." The PSAT will be offered through the HS counseling office and updates will be announced to students as they come available. Brochures and booklets with more information on some of these exams are also available in the HS counseling office.
